Evolution of the Process

Screen printing traces back centuries to stencil-based decoration methods. Over time, it evolved into a process using mesh screens to transfer ink with greater control and detail.

What started with hand-cut stencils has advanced into a highly technical process using high-resolution film output, precise screen exposure, and modern presses. Today’s equipment—both manual and automatic—allows for exceptional detail, consistency, and scalability.

With advancements like servo-driven automatic presses, refined mesh systems, and improved ink technologies, screen printing continues to evolve while maintaining its core principle: pushing ink through a screen to create bold, lasting designs.

Capabilities, Materials & Techniques

Screen printing is built on precision and adaptability. Every detail—from screen tension to mesh count—is carefully controlled to match the design.  Ink is pushed through a mesh screen using a stencil, layer by layer, to build the final image.

Techniques include:

  • Standard Spot Color Printing: Clean, smooth, and professional for logos and lettering
  • Wet-on-Wet Printing: Faster production with smooth color transitions
  • Dry Printing (Flash Between Colors): Prevents smearing and keeps edges sharp
  • CMYK Process Color Printing: Full-color, photo-quality images using layered inks
  • Specialty Inks: Puff, metallic, glow-in-the-dark, and more

We screen print on cotton, blends, performance fabrics, fleece, synthetics, canvas, bags, and more. Each material is matched with the proper ink system and curing method to ensure long-lasting results.

When done correctly, screen printing is one of the most durable decoration methods available—resisting fading, cracking, and wear over time.

SCREEN PRINTING PROCESS

Step 1: Consultation and design submission

It all begins when you reach out to us with your idea. You can submit your design, logo, or concept through our website, email, or by visiting our physical shop. Our team will review your submission and discuss your vision, intended use, and any specific requirements, such as colors, sizing, and placement. We'll also help you choose the best item for screen printing.

Step 2: Quote and artwork approval

Once we have a clear understanding of your project, we’ll provide a detailed quote. This includes pricing based on number of colors in your logo, number of locations to print on the item, item quantity, and any artwork fees. After you approve the quote, we will then send you a digital proof for your final approval, ensuring every detail is perfect before we proceed.

Step 3: Production and quality check

With your approval, our skilled screen printers get to work. Using our advanced machinery, we meticulously imprint your design onto your chosen items. Throughout the production process, each item undergoes rigorous quality checks to ensure accuracy, durability, and a flawless finish. We maintain high standards to deliver only the best.
